Essential oils are considered the aromatic liquids of a plant, which are distilled from flowers, leaves, bark, roots, resins, peels, or seeds.

To the plant, the aromatic liquids help attract pollinators for regeneration. These liquids also serve as a defense mechanism against insects, animals, and other plant competition. Furthermore, they offer protection against threatening organisms, due to their natural anti-microbial, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial agents.

So how can Essential Oils help you?

Like their natural purpose that these aromatic liquids do for the plant, they can similarly offer the same help for you, depending on their chemical composition.

What do you need to know before you purchase?

It is generally understood that the buyer already knows how to use essential oils, and what they are getting a particular essential oil for before it is purchased. You will not find “recipes” on the bottle.
